Being honest i dont agree with this, It will be a long time before we see as good a quality as ronaldo come through, he has been one of the most influential players in the team and could change any game at the drop of a hat, He has his bad games but still scores in them, People dont realise that his season of 07/08 was a one off thing and it wont happen again for him!!! Guaranteed!!!!! He does get kicked allot more than other players and still battles on.

Ronaldo is a great player but he's not the best we've seen. Great players come and go from united and we always move on from them, the team is always bigger than the player. George Best, Denis Law, Bobby Charlton, Roy Keane, Eric Cantona were all better players in my opinion. Maybe some of them didnt have the individual skills that ronaldo has but I would have preferred any of them in my team than Ronaldo because they had more of an influence in the team and spurred others on. He's not the best in the world and not worth more than Messi or kaka because they are both better players than him. Great bit of business to sell him at this highly over inflated price.
Like you said, I'm sure fergie does have idea's on what he wants to do to replace ronaldo so I hope he gets to work and it all happens soon.

Would love to essien as well but thats going to happen..would disagree about ferguson making the decision but I think the borad would of had final say thats a big chunk of money evn for UTD..he wont get all tha back my guess is he''l be given the 25 million of tevez and another 20 for someone else

I do think fergie was happy to let him go and gave the go ahead, sure wasnt the same money not offered last year and united turned it down because fergie said he wasnt going anywhere? I think the deal was done last year rob..it all went to calm..Ive said it before in other posts..utd will get the money in installments..same business was done with beckham.
