Hawk is a 2006 -2007 model

Blobeye is a 2003-2005

Bug is from 00/01- 2003

and classic is from 93-00

as with nearly all models there is overlap so you could possiby get an 04 bug eye ,

the r and rx models are basically the same (nonturbo) a wrx sti type r which is a 2 door 2 litre turbo classic model , its all very confusing to newbies

price is good but its due a timing belt which you should budget €5-600 at a main dealers ,

i recently traded a red 2007 saloon rx in to a main dealers amnd they had it up @ 10k straight or 11k with a trade and the car wanted for nothing ,

the bonnet and wheels are 2k worth of extras anyway on the red wagon there so its a decent price for a 08

cheers for the comments lads...honestly couldn't see the missus driving around in a STi saloon. She doesn't mind the estate. There's a nice wrx estate on carzone but way out of budget.

She's not an STi just look like one. She's a non turbo 2.0 RX model.

Wouldnt be the best for info but here goes

rx 2 ltr non turbo
wrx 2 ltr turbo
wrx sti 2 ltr turbo with different internals. More power than the wrx.Harder to insure aswell.

Some of the blobs/hawks are either 2 ltr or 2.5. Hope im correct on this as thinking of getting a hawk 2 ltr in a few years.

Loads of different versions of each model.Search on the home page think theres something there or have a look at the search on forum.

Few nice cars mentioned happy hunting

There are also 1.6 TS and 1.6 RX models. Body kit been the difference between them.

I Had a '04 1,6 wagon and she wasn't thirsty at all. average 8,5 L / 100 km which is less than Her current Ford Cmax drinks . My missus loved to drive it and She didn't need any more power than that 90-95 Hp.
