Running costs

I may be stupid but I dont mind spending the money (gone up to 110e a week) on petrol. My car is my major expense. I live at home. Dont drink or smoke or do anything else along those lines.

and there i was wondering why i was broke all the time...must have been the rent, loans, food, esb, scooby, hdi, fags and booze.
oh and juice :D

110 a week! jaysus! how many kms do you get out of that? I filled up today 72 euro

I do about 800km a week and I do a fair bit of hard driving as well. I dont see it as an expense. Its too much fun for that

When it comes to the scooby the petrol prices really dont concern me. If it needs gas I just put it in and dont think how much it set me back because the car puts big smiles on!

Now, my 4 litre Ford Explorer V6 is thirsty!

hey all.. i put in about 60 to 80 euro a week depends on wat am doin.. i really dont find her heavy on petrol.. when i sent her for respray last month i had to drive my dads pajero 2.8td a pure alcoholic.. never drove a yoke as heavy.. 110 euro to fill it and it woud only do 400miles... i love my subaru!! :subaru: :subaru:

I put about €130 on average every week and I only do between 450 to 550 miles a week. The majority are either city driving or stop start on the MMMMMM50.

60 euro per week does me, although mines only a 1.6, i drive everywhere in it coz its fooking deadly, dont care how much it costs, but im hoping the petrol prices are gonna change soon, robbing pigs!!!

Running costs dont really bother me, i was expecting the fuel bill to be a bit high with everyone saying "them things are thristy"

And to be honest i think the car is ok on juice tho the price is outrageous

€150 or more per week and with a full tank I might get 130 miles

You'd want to fix that leak in the fuel tank

I don't mind the mileage its the fact that we are getting fooled into thinking there is a shortage of oil...if Dubai where staring into empty oil wells would they be spending billions upon billions on development? Its they way of world now us mugs just swallow what skynews or cnn tell us and get on with it and grumble...petrol cost 26p because chavez refuses to play the stock market game with their oil...

I go through just about a full tank a week, get over 400 kilometers from it. Not too bad, did the same in my 1.3 Turbo Glanza......
