s202 for breaking?!?!?

best off breaking it its an ugly ba*tard.....
that grill and spoiler are shocking :shock2:

Rear quarter damage on that S202 would make it an expensive fix.... Especially being the side where the fuel filler is.

Settle there my child...no need to stress yourself!

Its not an s202
[/quote] i just hate bugs, doesnt matter what spec they are :icon_nana:

:naughty: well its not 22b but still is more rear to come across in UK and ROI
they still keep their value, last one I saw was well sorted and sold in Uk for 11K :shock2:
so if its was genuine is worth repairing.
may be ugly to someone but its not even half as ugly as s201 is.
Has a few goodies and very sexy wheels.
and for those annoying blob owners :icon_lol: sticking their noses in bug topic just to throw abuse
may just get a blob sti (these days they go as cheap as bug) and do a BUGEYE facelift :icon_nana:

I cann't see anything to say its not an S202. If it has a roof hatch it very well may be one. It has more supporting it then against it. But the few mods where defo a bad choice.

Wrong interior. Should be black alcantara & should not have silver surround at air vents/stereo.

Wrong steering wheel. Should resemble the nardis on the earlier classic sti's (still a momo though)

No carbon fibre boot spoiler

No limited edition plate in front of gearstick

No s202 badge on the rear or the front grill

Should not have big scoop on bonnet

Other than that though :ponder2:

That's a blob wheel so it's the wrong one either way so that mains it was changed at some stage.

That carbon spoiler is hated by most so easiest way to change it due to bolt holes would be a complete boot lid and spoiler so badge and spoiler would go.

Front grill is changed so no badge. Explains that.

The interior as we've seen many times with spec C cars and other limited models RB320's etc (how many times have we heard i thought they only came with leather) can be either changed from factory or changed since it was new for many reasons. But I wasn't aware the s202 only came in black.

As for number in front of gear knob, the first thing to usually go in a limited car is the gear knob itself and the number plaque when their been broken and the shell is unusable.

Chassis number only true way of knowing concidering how it looks now. :ponder2:

How? I've identified 6 differences. Your argument is that if it has a roof vent (under that stupid roof thing) then it could well be!

i wouldnt be try ing to prove it isint what it says , id be more intrested in what DOES make it an s202.as cant see anything

had my suspicions as soon as i saw it ,that it wasnt as advertised , but then thats nothing new round these parts ( 4 dr ra thread)

I was looking at the fact it was
1. It's JDM.
2. It's a bug.
3. It has S202 wheels
4. The roof scoop may actually be doing the job their designed to do. Carry air through a roof vent that if it's there is what an s202 would have. Plus a prodrive or specC.
5. Engine although also off an Sti but no Sti badge on the boot.
6. Breaks but also standard on Sti model.
7. Everything you back your facts up with are removable or as I've said and seen in the past could be factory changed when ordering. I never liked the silver radio surround so always changed to black.

But yeah why makes a it an s202 to an enthusiast is missing. A cosmetic feature you missed brian is the wing mirrors should be black. It also has side skirts. Only really looking at pics of S202's now as they never really interested me.

Not quite sure what to say now :ponder2:

I pointed out initially that it wasn't an s202. You esentially said you thought it was & now you're pointing out further parts missing that highlight its more likely a standard sti.

I think the only solution here is to get the scooby doctor or KenC to contact the seller (this part added for comic effect)

Eric my next comment isn't directed towards you...

I'd just like to say hello to the former member who only logged on here to read this thread...you know who you are...hiya :smoochie:
