S204 for Sale

Paul,

I really wanted this, but came at the complete wrong time. Taught about making an offer a couple of times. Don’t think these types of opportunities will come up again in my life.

Renovating the house and bought a daily golf from Japan.
Definitely believe we could of done a good deal 👍
An immaculate car. Someone got a special one. Hopefully they drive it as it should be and not put into a show room.

I will keep your previous Subaru moving for another few years 👍

Hi Mark, was reminded yesterday of your help with the vrt 6 years ago when i got the car, it was really appreciated. I would have love to have done a deal with you oif it worked out but timings have s way of not making it happen.

Was pretty sad to see ithe car on the back or a trailer yesterday, but i got 6 yeara driving in it, albeit only did about 10k kms in that time. Hadn't planned on ever selling it but have a list of cars to go tbrough and cant be spending all my spare cash on cars. I am sure the fellah who bought it is going to look after it and hopefully he drives it a decent bit as planned so that made selling a bit easier.

I am guessing but i think we're not quite at the point of not being able to bring cars like this into the country but it's very close for sure. S204 and tyre r-ra are probably peak subaru (certainly for new age stuff), and they have to be about the best cars straight out of the factory.

I did a track day (one and only in the s204) last year and it's amazing how capable it is, especially for a 20 year old car. Mid 00s probably peak japanese cars generally.

It's the first time in a long time i havent had a nice subaru in the garage or as a daily so let's see how ling it lasts.

Glad you still have the hawk, it's a fine car for sure and i think look cooler thatn the s204 in someways.

Paul

Hello all, long time! What money was on the s204, i was looking at a few in Japan, typical i was a member here for years but after i sold my forester I did not check in, never dawned on me one could be for sale here

Thanks for the reply, I check in Japan myself. One went through Yokohama last night, a grade 4/b unsold and no bids, has corrosion on front arches and possible hidden rust underneath, start bid was over 2m yen around 15k.

Good luck on your search but be realistic on the value of these , the prices I gave above is a guide , you will add shipping , customs and vat and vrt on top of that

Yeah I know, I’ve imported a good few cars from Japan so know the craic, you can avoid the 10% duty on cars manufactured in Japan but the vat and vrt are still the killers.

Im keeping an eye on 2 other s204’s in Europe with vat and duty paid though.

One up north in Ilex car sales blue low miles example but 45k sterling, they're a cracker of a car in every way and have to be driven to be appreciated
