Scoobyireland Newbie

I was a lucky camper, for once,

I had my forester running a 20g to 408lb/ft and 386bhp for 18months on the forester sti 2.5 (same open deck motor as hawk WRX) and eventually the head gasket went! after loads off trackdays and a Scooby Shoot Out trip,

that forester sounds sweet............i am reluctant to push the standard internals :hand: but you never know lol

That was the setup 2 years ago on standard 2.5 internals,
Just over 100lb/ft more nowadays with the forged setup,
Aiming for an other 100lb/ft with the new Linered forged setup in september!

you are creating a beast Dan.....love it

Thanx man!
Tell me,
What size and off set wheels have you used on the Subtle car and the hawk??
Big offset wheels are only just starting to catch on down here now, so some first hand experiance would be very cool!
I run 20mm spacers on my silver 18"X7.5" et48 genuine sti wheels!

Hawk is running 18 x 8.5, 5 x 114.3, et53 with 5mm spacers

Su3tle is running 18 x 8, 5 x 100 , et48 with 10mm spacers

Very cool,
I've got Black Ultralegerra's 18X8 as road wheels, I'd have to put in shorter studs to run 10mm bolt on spacers!
But I recon it's worth a shot!
The stance of the wheels deos so much for the Subtle's look!

Welcome along man, really a lovely car.

Love the headlight mod, makes her stand out from the crowd

you might want to go with longer studs Dan :icon_biggrin:

have to agree with you though, the stance of a car is the key to its overall look. would like 9" rims on the Hawk

No man,
With my 20mm bolt on spacers, the studs protrude a few mill past the surface that the wheel fits to!
So I thought the 10mm spacers would have them sticking out to far,
The back of the wheel is flat, so no protusion at all will work,

Unless 10mm's aren't bolt on???
Are they just bolt through ones, Would I be silly to be warey of them?
And What length studs would I need to run 10mm spacers?

Sorry about all the questions man,

ah so your 20mm are hubcentric spacers Dan.

The spacers on SU3TLE are not bolt on but the studs are 10mm longer than standard. kit was from H & R.
as long as you are getting more than 7 full turns from the wheel nut then they will be fine.
5mm is the max you can go to with standard wheel nuts fitted....

Looking a set of 20mm hubcentric spacers myself or will go for a wheel change....needs to be wider
