u could of rang them and told them u just shot the fooker robbin your car , and then you would have 20 squad cars , riot police and the chopper at your house in 10 mins .
and when they ask, why u said u shot someone , you say " why did you say there was not enough on duty!! :dontknow:



on a srious note , chain around steering wheel would do no harm

Yea at least its still there and there isnt alot of damage done.... I have a plan to make sure they dont get it tonight cause if they were spooked the likelyhood is they may return and try again.....
Oh and i think ill have wireless cameras installed round the place over the next few days so if they do come back ill get them on video aswell!

Then not only will the garda get a copy of the video but i guarantee they will regret their actions....

CCTV would be a good job all rite if you could see there face's, karma could be administered post haste. i was actually thinking of putting a cam on my yard but reckon it might be a big fat waste of time

haha Peter has me well warned about that.....

Battery changed this morning.... Steering colum stripped to see what the real damage is....

Its actually not as bad as i first feared..... Seems they had no idea what the hell they were at and decided just to pull at the steering colum until something happened.....

All plastics are surprisingly savable.
Only thing i need is the Bracket that holds the steering wheel up and allows ya to adjust the height.

Just had a fella across the road tell me that he seen 5 fellas sittin in a small black hatch back at half 1 this morning thats been floating around here for the past few days.... told me as soon as they seen him looking out his window they started the car and scarpered..... He wasnt able to get the reg number but has a few others on the lookout for it again.

Seems they came back for a second go at it...... thank frig i got the alarm fitted so quickly! (Cheers for the help with that Gretts)
 
if your stuck for a bracket i can make one for yeah on the c&c. :thumbsup:

Car is currently quite well protected..... infact just for giggles......

heres the way its sittin at the moment.....
 
Oh and if they manage to get into the focus,
move the focus,
bypass the alarm
bypass the imobilisers
and start the car all without makin any noise......

They might find it difficult to drive without this:

Thats my work car fella.... Im the Traffic Safety Control Officer on the M50 and deal with accidents and incidents of all shapes and descriptions......
 
Right lads.....
Everythin is back in 1 piece... well almost....
Just the steering wheel to get back on. But the back of it is damaged so everytime i put it on the horns blare......

I have disconnected the horn beside the battery, but theres another horn that i cant see somewhere.
does anyone know where it is so i can temporarily disconnect it and get the car back on the road???
