anyone know anything about no 16 - its for sale for quiet a while and suprised it hasnt gone at this stage...

Beware!!
the following is my opinion...
needs at least 6/8k spent to get to a VGC and resemble 1st day condition etc
Sills, arches, wings, roof pillars x 4 (2 front ones have screwdriver marks on either side - appears someone locked there keys in!! would have neing cheaper to break the glass than damage the pillars!), rear end, boot all need attention,full respray...new disks needed (even new installed i think in advert)/ callippers i would guess too... bonnet out of line... glass is scratched/scuffed - needs replacing
Engine seems to have being pulled out to have heads done - f*cked back in a rush with various bits loose/damaged..all the oil seals and the like were meant to have being done - but the underneath has fresh oil stains all over it...heads appear to have had being done to be fair, no bottom end work, engine not running right - once we turned the key she was rough
milage clock is reading 685k!!
needs a full respray & loads of filler!!
I was quiet shocked and upset to see the condition of the car and how it was left to get to that state over the years - it has being parked up for over a year, but outside i make out as there was water lodging in the boot and surroung etc... shame really for the type of car it is - they will be sought after in years to come i would think.
made a few enquiries about the car from a few car heads in the area - the car was in the panel beaters over 16 months ago getting rear arches done and spray etc - when asked questions about a suspect respray on the rear. when we said the rear arches appear to have got some work.. no knowledge of same was had or that of the previous owner whom was also local etc... current owner has it approx. 2 years..enough was had when we said when the sellar wasnt honest...it was such a botch job the filler to the arches was coming through and the paint cracking!!!
we were going to offer 500.00 to take it away and scrap it - thats all its fit for at this stage... RIP no 16..... unless someone is looking for a serious project
