ok - small signs of old age - a bit fussy for reverse
exactly the same as a 1.6 impreza i had a few years ago (bought with smae mileage)
probably has 20000 km left in it or so
drove the sh*t out of the 1.6 from 50000 miles and it was still drivable at 90000miles but heavy and annoying

why do you ask?
 
Just a few lads on here including myself have had the clutch go a few weeks after getting a fresh import. The lads usually drive the sh*t out of the car before they send thm to the auction house in japan.
 
ill be getting my timing belt done soon and ill probably take it over to lusk motors and turvey bus park. there subaru/citroen service dept is there and im sure they could sort you out. other then that ied give one of the traders a shout :thumbsup:

you'd expect that (driving the car hard before its goes on the boat). but bear in mind and this is my experiece of subarus, great cars as they are they have crap clutches.

my old impreza 1.6 - clutch was gammy at 50,000 miles and worked ok until 85,000 miles when i replaced it
 
my clutch went the 1st week, fecken relise bearing, then again the 2nd week, burnt it out.

and havnt done the timing belt ever, have it but just to do it
 
I got my timing belt, tensioner and 2 gears done in Lusk Motors recently. They are a club trader so drop in or pm Peter (LMGSubaru), there is 10% off as well :thumbsup:

There is no hassle getting the belts or tensioners
