Show us what else you have in your Garage!!

She is very very good on diesel Gerry
One owner from new and the bloke I Baught it off sent the whole ecu to audi in Germany and got an Audi 3 way tuning box fitted some job and really does work we are averaging between 42 and 50 mpg when the box is on Eco that's pushing 260 bhp

They are in General Gerry when I was buying it I was buying it thinking to myself this is going to be a right fcuker on diesel and then your man was telling me about the box coming out of the ecu I said to the wife here (sales talk) but no he wasn't telling us lies she is savage on diesel no matter on short journeys or towing and I have often had the 4 tonne track machine behind me

they usually are tom 2 of my uncles 2 of them bought new in 07 and 08 and said they were thirsty as fook so maybe the tuning box worked wonders for it

Have to say Colm... I kinda like it. Taxed 3 months, tested, new winter tyres, clutch, discs & pads, CV joint and exhaust all for 1k. Can't go far wrong really.

1.4 too... So livelier than I expected. And 40mpg.

I can certainly live with it for a few months... happy out! :)

They're not half bad Jamie and at least yours is the 1.4, which is nippy enough to be a comfortable drive. Good luck with her!

Last 2-3 months been driving a 1.0 50hp '99 Polo... no power (whatsoever)... but economical and seats not bad at all.

Just got an '08 Octavia 1.9tdi dsg on Monday... not exactly powerful either, though compared to the 1.0 Polo it probably is and over 50mpg isn't bad either.

Yeah got the Mother a brand new one in 2001
Think I paid 10250 euro got a great deal at the time from fosters
1.4 5 door silver too
Great car
She loved it
I got tinted glass all round from auto flair for her and a private plate
Should never have sold it
You shouldn't loose a penny during ownership
Many happy miles Jamie

In sligo it's white. Not in great condition. Had a tip on the front. Thrown out side a gud few years now but might have some smaller cosmetic bits ya need. The one I had on the road was red with the leather. Spend the last year I had it in the shed with the cover on. T bar was leaking a bit aswell on it.

I'd a red t-bar mk1 a few years back too. Great little car but God awful brakes on it.
