small update on my non Subaru project, My e55 amg , bodywork all done now and Joe let me use his ramp and gave a hand fitting new suspension all round as they were a bit tired with 104k miles on them, also had it taxed over Xmas there to go to a few events , love it have to say .

When I started my time in 2000 in BBM, I’d have those home on a regular basis at the age of 20.

I was the only 1st year who had a full licence out of the four of us.

Will try keep it shortBought the chassis from Durran in the UK and trailered it back around 2015.

Stripped it and started from scratch. Version one was with the father's old crossflow hot rod engine and type 9 gearbox out of a Sierra and welded diff.

I use it for autotesting so had to keep modifying to make it better over the years. I'd say it's on version 7 by now with all the mods.

Spec now:
1.6 sigma zetec out of a 03 focus standard ecu. Removed around 20kg of wires and bypassed immobiliser

Twin rear calipers separate hand brake
Pedal box with bass valve
Corsa power steering
2.3 quick rack modified for extra lock
Quaife plate diff
Adjustable coilovers
Shortshifter and custom gate to only allow reverse and first, alliminium bell housing
15" rear and 13" front minilites

Def needs more power but will take a bit more mulla so will have to do for now.

Na bought it myself from Lisbon of a classic dealer. Was a snip so had to go for it, I actually have a full brown dash and loom for a rhd and bought the car to convert it bit it was too clean to touch it so just kept it stock kinda Piper exhaust and full Spax suspension kinda stock. Been offered another clean one if anyone is in the market.

Exact same. My first performance car was a black 94 GT Starlet, class thing, I wasn't big into the whole maintenance thing at the time I was young and stuff so the car pretty much deteriorated in my possession but it was wicked. Cool memories in that
