Hey Derek,
You could say that alright! I bought her in Roscommon in January, only had it two hours when she dropped a valve on the Ennis bypass and blew a hole out through the side of the rocket cover! Nightmare stuff! Took me a long time to get her right after it. Fitted a new engine and had a lot of trouble getting her running right. Pipe work was wrong on it! Anyway, im down about €1,500 but all's well that ends well! Im using her now as my daily driver and its running so well, never misses a beat! I got a few bits on the body work tidied up too, front splitter and got stone chips done on front bumper and bonnet. When I bought it she had a wide offset set of wheels on it that were causing it to hit the arches. So I done a part exchange on them for the ones I have on it now, a newly refurbed set of 17inch speedlines. I love them on it, think they really suit it! Bought a set of 4 pots for the front too. So all in all its looking well now and running like a dream so you can be glad to know she's in a good home and minded like a baby!
