yeah it was originally a blitzen but whoever had it in japan took the liberty of changing the kit to standard b4,which i like better anyway... :subaru: just wish it was a manual now,would love a nice exhaust system and bov...but ya cant beat a bit of silence either,espically for the wee man!
 
i see it still has the OE back box! they are very quiet!

did some research today and turns out the Blitzens have the same "applied model code" to RSK's which unless you have a manual gearbox with the Fuji serial number to verify (manual Blitzens have a different gearbox with a Limited Slip front Diff) making it impossible to tell if you or any other Blitzen owner has the real deal

think Subaru dropped the ball there, no special numbered plaque and no change to Applied model code,

wonder how many RSKs with salvaged Blitzen parts are being passed off as them

or for that matter how many "De Blinged" true Blitzens like yours are unwittingly being sold as regular RSKs
 
yeah its very quiet alright!yeah id say thers a few rsks being passed for blitzens!!!lucky the red was only made for the blitzen model or id be questioning myself!!!

B4_RSK.... you don't want to know about those Apexi coil overs!! 50 miles in, MASSIVE knocking coming from the backs :shock2:

im not pi$$ed though mate! i only bought them as a temp set while my Tiens were getting refurbed

now they are sat in my porch and I'm debating if i should refurb them as well :ponder: :ponder: :ponder2: :ponder2:

sweet cakes weren't they yours too at one stage????
 
They were mine alright originally, bought them from a breaker and never got round to fitting them, just had too many other things to sort on the car and sold them to mark as I decided to sell the car. Sorry to hear they didn't work out for you :icon_sad:
 
haha i got them for a good price, but coil overs and suspension is always a risk when buying second hand, depending on how they were treated in the past, and we have no idea how many miles are on them, but judging by the corrosion on the fronts id would say a lot!

just one of those things :thumbsup:
