I've sold all five Leggys i've owned... but these are the notable ones...
#1 The dirty work beast 1991 L FWD Manual...
#2 The 1991 Sport Sedan Manual.. I built the engine on my coffee table, all forged EJ22T block. Currently pushing 450HP with turbo/ecu/gearboxes changed often by new owner
Even the interior was shampooed until mint!
#3 The trail rated one... Bought for $350, chopped a good bit off it, and only put another $400 into it *had a bad torque converter.
45 degree inclines without rubbing!

No, only ever lived in Tralee. I bought the car in summer 2010 from a guy in North Dublin. I part ex'd my 01 Golf Gti plus about €400 for it. I had originally looked at a different legacy that was nothing like the pictures or description so decided to stay up in dublin and see if there were any others around. Went to Jap Cars to look around, but they wanted to give me next to nothing for my gti. So rang this guy and part ex'd. I got a good deal!! How come you never bought it???

It wasn't QUITE 45 degrees, but a solid 35/40 degrees... And I did a chunk of body trimming... Relocation of spare tire well, so no longer had a low trunk bottom, tucked exhaust and some sticky tires.. Bridgestone Blizzaks... And a this one was an automatic with a good hand brake!
I had to get out and take the picture! The engine was a snorkled non turbo 2.2L *STOCK US SPEC* Subaru engine with 170,000 miles with just a few good gaskets and a lash adjuster clean up.
but yeah, after all that, i just drove up to the edge of the incline and then gave it some throttle, it didn't even spin the tires... Unless I punched the throttle, then it would break loose a bit.
I just drove through the small ditch...
