Sold her this evening.
My thought on my brief subaru ownerships...4000kms worth/4 months :icon_hang:

Before things went wrong they were:

Fantastic car to drive,plenty of power,planted feel on the road,excellent traction,very responsive steering,sounds good

Towards the end they were:
"Rodney you plonker",(from only fools & horses),to be frank i bought a car i didnt know much about,it passed the NCT which in reality it shouldn't have.I made a big mistake financially & am realing from it a little bit but I'm taking the knock.

I went too big too fast,but im glad i found out albeit the hard way.

Hopefully i will own a subaru of sorts in the future that will be reliable.
 
we all get a bad one once, just dont get caught again. :thumbsup:

oh rodney your car is outside my gaff for a service.

@ dohctubo......probably would have had better luck with one of those!

@ scoobymaniac not before im 25 id say,what an engine note though
 
I know, its like music to my ears. I know the equal length manifolds give more power but it ruins the tud tud sound, i'd never put one on any of my scoobys :cuckoo:

You'll get yourself a good one as soon as ya can and it'll all be worth it.

Hi there you were just unlucky with history of your choice.

i wouldn'y say too big too fast...

Subaru ownership cannot be judged on your experience as related to damage history rather then subaru themselves...

hopefully you will decide subaru again and enjoy your experience.

ah sad to hear that but i'm sure ya'll be back as soon as ya can  :subaru:

my relationship with the wrx didn't start off as well as i wanted it to be  :sad: i'm sure the car hated me and i loved it - what a love hate relationship we had  :lol:  but haven't given up and wont give up  :653:

Ah i dont doubt for one second that subaru was the way to go,just unfortunate with that one,only one choice if i get a quick car again.
 
Collect my replacement transport,a luvly magma red 1 litre opel corsa,cheap & cheerful is the only way at the moment,as i said before damn shame how things panned out put I cudnt justify 50 euro petrol for 250km
 
Yeah your probably right but remapping is another extra cost & with the structural problems the car had it would be like throwing money down the drain.
