Snapped wheel nut removal

keith , what brand of nut/locknut is richie supplying . jus so lads can get an idea of what theyre gettin before commiting .
my preference would be internal drive and in blue

If you got a hole saw bit just a tad bigger than the stud, would it be any easier?at least you could use the stud for guidance instead of trying to keep the drill straight going through the centre..

think if including the locking nuts the are 20 pound aswell, that would be 40 pound, for 20 wheels nuts and set of locking nuts :dontknow:

Keith I'd be into a set too including locking nuts (black I think or mabay gold jeazus i dont know)
Can you fire up a pics of em on your wheel when u get a sec :goodjob:

I was thinking that as well but local hardware store didn't have one long enough in the right diameter.

Stubborn ba*tard of a yoke anyway. Left the studs hand tight and went for a spin. Checked them when I came back home and they needed tightening but the broken nut still hadn't snapped. There's fook all left and it's still not budging. Bought a couple Bosch and draper bits and I've only one left.

A hole saw wouldnt even mark the nut id imagine. There is no easy way :)

Bought a nice Draper punch set today and another Bosch bit. Should have it out tomorrow with a bit of patience.

Bloody difficult. I have a set of those internal drive ones from Rarerims... great quality and removal key is seriously strong.

I'd be up for the internal ones so, guess i will get blue to match colour of the car... red could be nice too... will have to think about it.
