unreal the way the arse has fallen out of these type of cars. 67k that would have been new

near sure was 74k

I think they were going to be 74k after June 08 plus the high tax hence why none were sold after that.

Deposit taken and lad was waiting on loan approval
I'd say

probably spot on there , loans aint easy come by these days

Or maybe he read the sh*t talk on here from tommy and taught I'm out!

I really don't believe you tommy, did you know all about the 2.5 before you bought your car?

IMO it's 50/50 on scoobynet , some lads had no issues at all, yes I agree a lot did have trouble, your the only one on here that seems to talk about it, out of how many 2.5 owners have we got?

It isnt sh*t talk at all Johnny , its all there in black and white across the subaru forums of the world , car was "sold" on friday but was put back on donedeal on saturday before i ever mentioned the known issues of the hatch sti engine , timeline for anything said on here doesnt match with events relating to the sale of the car ,

i believe when i bought my car was well aware of the issues surrounding the motor , i also believe my car was showing early signs of failure but for the knowledge shared on the likes of scoobynet nasioc etc etc i had it sorted before i needed a major rebuild ,

and also i would add i would buy that hatch in a heartbeat , if i had the dollars , and was looking to move up the years but im happy with my own 2.5 ,

the 2.5 hawk sti is rare enough on here , gerry and pat have them but dont seem to have any issues .

Ya Tommy seen that thread alright didn't remember reading anything about the wrx's. Is it more of a mapping issue really so. Would the wrx and stis be same engine more or less

I'd not worry about the add being put back up garages do that even when car is sold. I rang a place about a passat that was up on Donedeal only a few minutes fella told me they had sold it the day before

Have to 110% Agree with Tommy here.

Thing is when lads have fresher cars they dont all drive the stones of it. So when you see the precentage has had issues its absolutely huge per ratio of issues and ones out there.

I'm sure C&R are delighted to be reading this thread.
