wanting to pick yer brains again... i got new drilled an groved disks and yellow stuff pads for scooby few weeks ago, and after a good rally drive i still keep getting a soft spongy pedal, after bout 3 to 5 mile of hard driving!! im goin to the nurbergring in few weeks an wanted real good brakes (understandable)! so i bought these as there supposed to be best you could get!! any ideas of why am stil getin soft pedal or wat wil i do to sort it??

do you have braided hoses? If you've given her a good rally then you've probably heated the brake fluid to a point where the rubber hoses will soften and expand

Try changing the fluid to dot 5.0 and see if it makes a difference
Some of the lads on here will tell you what brand is best from experience

i bleeded the front brakes when i did them, its not soft all the time only after good drive.. but shouldn be soft that quick should it..?

jus 30 mph slow to stop, 40 then slow to stop, thats the wa i do it.. the back brakes are normal i didnt change them would that make a difference to getin a soft pedal??

are you close to dublin, still reckon brake fade. if it was air you would most likely have spongy pedal all the time. were brakes ok before you changed them

no they were never great. they wouldn lock ya to the road. i thought cause car was lyin up for few months pads mite have gone hard so i changed pads an disks while i was at it. better then until it heats up then soft pedal... how do you reckon brake fade when there new and there yellow stuff?
