Spec C on Done deal. Anyone here?

what a car and very cheap if only my dad waited a few months before looking for an impreza but still very happy with the 01 sti

I bought a 03 jdm sti with only 45,000kms on it there a while ago for 9k, but I'd have picked the spec C ahead of it at the time If it was on offer, despite the lack of diff control and not so ugly lights!

ya it is i was going to buy that car off them last year but bought a cam instead. i thought spec c's had no rear wiper ??

They Dont!! And why is the same car for sale in Sligo and in Clare on the same page on donedeal. Or was it bought and sold again
in the same month??

Spotted that too John, The Bridgestone sticker on the spoiler gave it away. Very strange alright :ponder:

It was bought from the guy in sligo as I was onto him and he told me. I asked the guy in clare he said he bought it but couldnt insure it. Also Its not a spec-c its a prodrive edition sti.
 
That makes a bit more sense, wish he would take spec c off his add then. its killin my chances
and if he coldnt get insurance, how come there is a 6000 mile difference in one ad to the other>
 
Whether its a Spec C, Prodrive, or Type RA, its dirt cheap at that price.. think its being a bit over analysed here, maybe the guy that bought it had no insurance? maybe insurance was tempery transfer, maybe no insurance at all, and more likely maybe some guy bought it for 6k cash and is now selling to make profit... either way who cares really. Its still dirt cheap at that money if its anyway decent at all..
this is one of the many fooking cheap cars that has me thinking am i mad to be putting money into my Classic project.. definitly worth looking at imo
 
I care , for a start. If its not what its advertised as it f**ks up my chance of sellin a real version, so nobody is over anylising anything.
 
I suppose the fact that the add says "rapid fast" would make you wonder about how much of an enthusiast the owner is!
All its missing is the "Bleedin" before that.

All the same, it looks a nice one, and even if its only an sti, its still pretty cheap at that.

Fenster do you think the fact that yours is up rated from bug to blob front end might be putting people off? Purely because its no longer a "genuine car."
I'm sure its a good job, and hey, everyone prefers a blob front end to a bug, but it could still be in the back of peoples minds.
 
in fairness fenster, if you had off put this much attention and posts into your own forsale thread, you would have sold your car months ago.
 
I would have thought the blob upgrade would be a selling point and not put people off. It wouldn't bother me anyway.
 
i would prefer it to andy, blob is alot nicer, but i would say people are thinking it was changed for a reason more so than anything else.ie. crashed.
 
The other thing fenster is even though yours is a type ra in todays market its still abit pricey. If you want to sell it you may have to drop your price, unfortunately thats the way things are at the moment.
