Just Listening too the radio there and all the proposed speed camera's going up from tomorrow!! :icon_evil: :icon_cry:

Is there a way to find out there proposed positions, I saw the housing for one camera set up on the N4 in sligo outside castlebaldwin, But no camera on it. :angry1:
Not a happy camper. Anyone else see these housing,?
The annoyance is more because its in an area that aint too bad of an area, straight road. And it will be fairly hidden from the direction going towards sligo.
trust our government too put them in area's they dont need them!!! i have no problem around high incident area's but middle of straight road is just looking for money W**kers :angry1:
 
is there not a whole load of fixed ones going up too around the country???, if not, What the hell was i looking at :lol: Cheers andy for the info :thumbsup:
 
Tender is still out for the supply of fixed gatso cameras so no confirmation yet when they'll be in place. A good few months though, maybe even on the never-never with the recession :dance:

Gay boyo wont be happy about that at all. These new camera's in the darda cars will be something else though, Keep an eye on the rear view mirror at all times me thinks!!!!! :whistle:

i wouldnt hold me breath on this one!!!
cant see the privatisation of speed cameras happening any time soon....
too much investment involved for any company in these recessionary times me thinks!!!
whats the story with garda car cameras???
never heard anything on that!!!
 
The ANPR is definately coming in. I was told they wanted it nationwide in Traffic Corps cars before the end of '09. I think it has only been put on cars in the Kildare area at the minute but it won't be long before the larger areas get it also. :thumbsup: :wall:
