I always get wary when someone says ... car is NCT ready ....

if it is ready for the NCT , then get it NCT'd .... show me the proof ....

and his IC looks a bit wonky in that picture ...
 
Intercooler looks upgraded, possibly from new age car so its not sitting right.

spluttery due to lack of use is a lame excuse. My type R sat still for 13 months, it started and drove fine first time of asking.
 
its a version 2 with a face lift front end, thats the way the ic is ment to be,
but they are a tiny top mount :wall: it aint the lying up thats causing its splutter,
there must be something wrong, maybe the maf is fooked.
 
I thought the intercoolers on the early Classics where smaller and black?.
 
you can get a silver sti version 1/2 intercooler same as above from factory
