Seats make and brake a car driving wise. Doesn't matter what car you driving if your in snug seats it's ac Way better place to be and will give to the urge to go quicker . When I fitted the recaro's in the legacy it was like nite and day

Doesn't matter what shape a seat is for me. Once it's sweaty leather it can **** off.

Not really true some leather seats Give a great grip and feel all to do with the bolsters on the seat and not all are sweaty

Seats in my present car are grand exactly like wrx seats for support and the same in my bug great support I love leather in a scooby

The only cars I liked leather seats were my Aunts old 90's Volvo V40 and my Parents 07 CRV. Dark black and cream respectively. Leather suits those as they are boats.

I've honestly never come across a seat where I've said I'd prefer it in leather. Must be an old man thing. :icon_biggrin:

Sat in anton's Litchfield type 25 few years back at an agm and fell in love with the leather seats in that car . Something so much more than an sl spec WRX leather .

Had leather in my SL WRX Blob... was ok and not much difference with the normal seat.
Perforated too, so breathes and not sweaty.

Have had leather in a load of cars and overall would probably prefer it - although probably would like alcantara even better if only it didn't get dirty and tired looking so easily (ok when you're single but forget it with kids or if you wear jeans a lot).

Would agree that the best leather by a long stretch have been the Volvos, Range Rover and Jaguar... Audi and VW pretty OK too, but just not quite as nice as those others.

The only one I hate the leather in so far is the Hyundai... cheap hard stuff that is like an ice skating rink - even when treated with special products to give grip. Absolutely wrecks my back when I drive it between no frictional grip and no bolsters etc either. It's the missus' car though and in all fairness I rarely drive it and she doesn't seem to mind - and on the plus side it is extremely hard wearing and easy to clean when the twins spill stuff on put muddy boots on the surface when climbing in.

I'd say 3-6k depending on condition and milage. Obviously more or less than that if mint or heaps like certain ones.
