Yeah if that had a built engine that would be a nice price, I wonder if they would px a bug..........
I've been told that this car had had two trips to subaru in the UK to sort out engine problems. I don't think there is much.history with it either.
Besides there is a much better hatch for sale which has a FSSH, recaro seats which really set the interior off, keyless start, lower mileage, better colour imo and the same owner the last 6 years.
Never had any engine trouble either, possibly helped with no mods, never tracked ,warmed up and cooled down and driven sensibly, well mostly.
Owner should be more motivated to move on in the next week or two as expecting replacement soonish

Short block was replaced by Subaru UK approx 9-10k miles as had ringland failure under warranty.

it would not have been under warranty second time around if was an issue

Any idea what percentage of 2.5s give trouble?

Always thought they were bullet proof till I came across scoobynet threads and threads here.

Must be partly due to how they're driven too?

Have to agree.

Think its the wheels.
And not enough difference body wise to an aul 20d.

Need way wider arches etc

I know this is technically an amazing car etc but I think it looks sh*t! Especially for 76k!
I know that car, the lad that owned it traded it less than 4 weeks before he died. Up close and personal to it, it looks cool, huge performance and power. those wheels are 1500 a corner from what I remember. It was just shy of 150K new... Huge depreciation
