Sprayed my wheels (Finished Today)

Finally got around to having a go at spraying my wheels. These are the first wheels I have sprayed and Im delighted with how they have turned out.
ONLY THE FRONT WHEELS DONE SO FAR. It took a full day just to get them done. Most of the time involved stripping the gold off and getting it back to bare metal. The finish is all in the prep work they say :icon_grin:

Also freshened up my calipers with some red paint and repainted the Subaru in white while I had the wheels off.

Will make a start on the rear wheels on Tuesday. I went with a Satin Black finish. I'll see how they hold up and may put a coat of lacquer on depending on weather, stone chips etc etc

Im getting some strange looks with 2 black and 2 gold wheels :lol: :lol: :lol:

I never noticed before how high my car sits. Look at that arch gap :lol:

Definitely Dec, Black or Dark Anthracite would suit your motor down to the ground :thumbsup:

Hello Andy,

Wheels look nice & stealthy :cool:

I got some black wheel nuts for my Type-R and they rusted when I put them on with an Air Gun (at the impact points) :doh:

I would actually put chrome nuts on if I was to do it again :thumbsup:

As above, the wheels look Great :subaru:

Andy I think I've a set of black wheel nuts that I got with the Rotas but never used.
I'll see if I can dig them out and you can have them :thumbsup:

i have been through 2 sets of black wheel nuts in the last 2 years, new ones i got with new wheels seem to be the best. McGards spline lug set, all the nuts need special tool to get off, but they seem more durable than any other i have tried
