Springs and braided brake lines

Looking for some springs, to tighten cornering and lower a tiny bit. Was with CiaranWRX and he has the Eibach Pro-kit which is what Im after now if anyone happens to have any before I go ahead and get some from the UK? Or any other suggestions?

Also going to do the braided hose upgrade if anyone has a set of goodrich for sale?

Thanks :yellowthumb:

Sterling not great these days, probably better value here if you consider postage and exchange rate. Dave probably best value.

Best mod I've done by far savage diff along with f1s to stock wrx I'd spend the money on these and upgrade drops good disks and good pads and Ull have a very percise handling wrx

Lovley blob drives well now ...

But will drive better after them bits power is nothing without control as the add says [emoji106]

Thanks for the replies guys,

Dave can you give me price on those? It is an 04 blob wrx, thanks.

Sterling really is shite these days, scoobyworld have them really cheap though could be worth it, would rather support an Irish business though

Ciaran what sort of droplinks have you got? Do you think upgraded ones will be worth it?

Found alot of information about the two springs, they say the pro kit is a good handling mod and doesnt lower it that much, the s tech is a terrible handling mod but lowers the car and looks really well.

Any experiences you guys know of?

Leaning more towards the pro kit

absolutely pro-kit all the way I have used them in everything from a 1.2 fiesta ,saxo vts ,rs turbo ,ford focus 2 Scooby wagons and im about to order some for my new wagon they are quality

Both excellent springs, I chose tein personally because they were said to be slightly stiffer which I wanted, whatever you heard about bad handling is bullshit though, my car handles great.

I have found nearly all the reviews on the net and they all say that, is your car stiffer now Rob?

Now I dont know what to do, thanks for the input Dec, tough decision

Regardless of which you choose, the car will be stiffer, with less travel on the spring they have to be. I thought both springs lowered by about the same amount but if the eibach doesn't lower the car as much, then it makes sense that the tein would be stiffer. On a bumpy backroad, eibach (or standard springs) would have an advantage in that case but on a better surfaced road, the stiffer twins would be at an advantage. Either way, I don't think you'll ever drive it hard enough on the road to make a world of difference. Neither though will be stiffer than coilovers which a lot of people opt for. I got mine from scoobyparts, think they were £149 from memory, but whichever you choose I don't think you'll regret it.

Depends what coilovers you go for Rob , more travel than a lowered car on standard dampers. With the correct spring rate would be fine

Eibach kit lowers it by 35mm not sure about the tein all I can say is anyone that had a spin in mine is very impressed with the body control and comfort really tracks the bumps neatly and dosent feel bouncy. What rob says above bout the stiffer springs mabay being better over a smooth road makes sense but as a daily driver the Eibach prob a better shout dan

Also Baz is totally correct coilovers with good set up correct spring rate are very good option but think dan wants to keep the budget down for other bits

Ah no,I'm not recommending coilovers just saying a lowering spring on a standard damper would have less travel than a coilover like bc where the adjustment is at the bottom of the strut and not the spring.

Ah ok might be getting some myself next year baz charles was well impressed with your BC setup there cheers
