square jap plates

got stopped by traffic corp earlier n told to change my reg plates (just because 'wrx' is written at the bottom), will standard square (jap style) plates be legal and pass an nct?

As long as it meets all the regulations it'll pass the NCT. You wont be able to have any additional writing on though for the test.

Yea, have the square ones myself and they pass no problem
