steering problem

lads i was driving home this evening and a bad shaking came into the steering wheel then i had no control of the steering it kept going to the left and wouldn turn right for me.lucky enough i came to a junction and pulled over and tried turning the wheel right and it wouldn budge.anyone know the problem

check the usual stuff first fluid steering arms at both wheels may be something track rod came off, steering pump :don't know:

might be of help, i had a similar prob. i got my brake discs skimmed and it sorted it.
