sti discs with 4 pot wrx calipers ??

well lads just wondering as im sure we have some good engineering types on here somewhere ,has any of you ever tried to fit sti discs on a wrx by making godspeed type adaptor brackets and using the wrx 4 pots .just thinking out loud as I have some discs in the shed and was goin to try it

will it gain you anything as you'll still be using wrx size pads?

aston martin db7 pads fit the wrx caliper but are about 10-15mm deeper so pads woodnt be an issue

Would brembos be less work are the discs the same thickness . I think Godspeed put a spacer between the 2 halfs to make there big kit work

oh ye definitely joe just thinking out load as I have the parts and can do the engineering myself ,but I hadn't taught of the spacer in the caliper fair play joe

Dec did you yell me before that scally had them on the type r,i cant remember what you said about them

ye he had the full godspeed kit on his and they work great to be fair

What way were they ? the 335 mm discs with the spacers for the calipers was it

ye that's it man he only changed as it was cheap for the 2010 sti brembos off ali burrows

I got the kit off scally but the disks were fooked

And far to expensive to replace, I could buy brembo's with discs and pads cheaper so I didn't keep them.

I gave them to a lad of here that took some parts off me.

Can't remember who but I'll find out and see has he used them
