Sti Forester has fast idle issues at 2k and beyond when parked - NCT problem

you shouldn't solder the sender wire on a lambda as it causes too much resistance. just a note, not saying its the wrong sensor - but they are not all the same, even thou they will fit.

Re: Sti Forester has fast idle issues at 2k and beyond when parked - Sorted out

Update, sorted it out, it was the sensors not the Cat or the Fast idle(Choke) or the MAF or the Throttle positioner sensor. the bloody A/F and O2 sensor were not working at all. even after I thought the replacement would work, Limrk Brakes sold me a precat sensor and a post cat sensor. Both were wrong for the job. So online and in Japanparts.com I found both for one third the price of dealer price, and they were OEM. So.... It's running grand. in fact better than it has been on juice for a year or two.
Morale of the story.... Shop around, get good advice, take your time. Tx People for the suggestions and the help also.
