Sti Hids to Wrx self leveling question

Hi anyone thats done this mod before encounter a problem at nct with the wrx not having self leveling when the factory hids are fitted?...

Do they check for this? .... :dontknow:
 
did the model car you are taking the headlights from come with factory headlight washers ? if so you will need to retrofit them, if not you don't.

I have factory xenons, no headlight washers, no issues at nct.
 
Cheers man i heard that to but washers wernt on them till 2006 so no.

but what u recon about the self leveling that comes on the sti model is your a sti did you retro fit yours does your car have auto leveling?
Think thats what might cause the problems at nct...
 
I may be incorrect.

But from memory self leveling was only on hawk eye onwards.

So open to correction but do not think blob sti jdm had self leveling headlights.
 
I thought xenon fitted factory lights had to have a self leveler
Attached to the wishbones to adjust, according to weight in the vehicle?

I have manual levelers on mine, even though they are factory fitted xenons. Not retrofitted, came from factory this way. You'll be fine without levelers, just make sure to get the headlights aligned.
