STI Rewenals??

Well Lads!
Just wondering how the rest of the sti drivers out there are fairing out with their insurance rewenals?
Im 32, 7yrs no claims and fully comp - Lst yr 1048, this yr 1678????? WTF!!! (and no claims or incidents??)
Got it back down to 1100 with AXA but still, its a f**kin joke!
Rang 23 different places and 16 of them wouldn't touch an sti? Seriously, i'd love to see the stats that show that sti drivers make more claims, most are decent drivers and dont want their pride and joy wrapped round a tree! - its d blind biddies in the micras ya need to watch out for!!! :)

Anyway, rant over! . . . . . . . till nxt year!
 
Around a grand seems to be the going rate. They think if you can afford the running costs of an STi then you can afford to pay more insurance than the average micra driver imo. Nice signiture by the way. :icon_grin:
 
try adding a wife or girlfriend (even if not yours ) for up to 20% discount . thats what i did
 
same as ross says....i only added my wife last year after girl in insurance said add your spouse and then we can knock the price down...by 450euro for me....paid 750 fully comp last year but renewal is due 23rd of this month so we'll see what happens this year!!
 
I paid 1150 last year.was 1400 but when I added my girlfriend it came down 250.worth a shot mark

I'd say he wanted your wife / girlfriend not policy no. Just confused with the excitement of the invitation :icon_grin:

YuP, that's it, got my Missus on my policy for 20% discount and maybe if I get someone else's Missus on my policy I could get up to 40% discount, u never kno :ponder2:
 
Not fully sure exact figure but mine is around 1200. Age 26 fully comp on 02 sti.

I'm with quinn and got a letter few wks ago about them changing to liberty. They were on bout "being what their customers want"! I e-mailed them about the club saying as they are re branding they could use it as an opportunity to give Subaru drivers a chance. as they are enthusiasts and not boy racers. I suggested they offer a discount for members or at least offer a quote those who cant get a one. Give a chance to prove ourselves before judging.

Got an e mail back saying they had forwarded it to the revelant department. that was on the 28th of Feb. Havent heard back since!
 
Got my renewal today.
€490 on MY04 STi. 30 years old, 8 years no claims, its actually down in price from the B4!
Delighted is an understatement!!!!!
