Stolen Bike

Jaak

Petrolheads
Hi all,

Could you all please do me a favour?
My bike got stolen from my garage today.
I think it was an inside job, as I had proper locks on it.

If anyone sees it for sale somewhere, just give me shout on here.

Thanks!

Nice bike. Very striking looking. Check the usual donedeal.

Not nice hearing how it might be one of your work mates!

Stolen to order I'd say. Won't be advertised anywhere.

Most bikes that are stolen get bought for stupid money only a few hours after they are take.

What you mean it got stole from your garage and it was an inside job??? you take it your self???

Anyway chances of finding it are slim, claim on your house insurance

Think he means the underground garage of his apartment complex Ken, although it would be funny if it was his alter ego that robbed it on him :icon_lol:

Inside job, as in somebody knew it was there. Its an underground parking, and no one can see it from street. Unless you go in the garage a lot. Only 6 cars in the garage as well.

It was cut with a big wire cutter (or whatever you call it). There were no force mark on the locks...

See it every day underground car parks are the worst.
People think there bikes are safe because there out of sight and use a crap lock.
The lads around here will stand outside, as a car comes out they will stand infront of
The sensor and stop the gate from closing, there mates go down and take all the bikes.
If you spend under 70 euro on a bike lock it can be opened on sec

sorry to jack your thread but i just had to mention this recent thing that happened
A friend of mine
had his bike stolen outside his apartment
in broad daylight
his girlfriend was on her way to work the next day on the bus
and seen the bike in a different house about a half mile away
locked outside on the railings
she got of the bus and rang the police
after 30 minutes they arrived they said they could not do anything
as she had no proof that she owned the bike
so the guard left his card on the handle bars of the bike and left :icon_rolleyes: :icon_rolleyes:
anyway the next day my mate went back there
put a car jack in between the lock and broke it and took his own bike back
its a sad day when you have to steal your own property back
what is wrong with this country when a person who has never broken the law in there life has to in order to retrive there own property
MAD :icon_hang: :icon_hang:
anyway hope you get your bike back
