Ah that's nasty. Chassis leg bent and airbag out most likely a write off :icon_sad:
 
Nasty alright, but if writen off he may have problems with the
insurance company since they got the keys, witch they look upon
as neglagence on the owner just something to think about,
but hopefully it works out, ive a set of standard headlamps
he can have for free if he needs them, might also have corner lights :thumbsup:

well at least it was found , quickly.

As for the keys , if you left them on the bar counter walked away and returned later to find them missing along with
your car then yes , You are in some way liable but if they where stolen from you ie, pick pocket etc...... that's NOT YOUR FAULT,
your a victim of crime there for insured :thumbsup:

The car does not look like a write off in my opinion.....
I served my time as a pannel beater but it can be hard to tell from a pic...

The insurance cant do anything since the keys where stolen off him... Its not like he went into the shop and left the car runnin

same as if they where stolen from your house while you slept at night.... You are not at fault
