yup ,deffo sounds like one of them ...

release bearing shot maybe ????
is it only when coming off the pedal, or does the vibration happen when your pressing it in too
 
It's not all the time :
mainly first gear/pulling off feels a little like when the abs kicks in on the brake
and only at the top just as I put the clutch in and just as I take my foot off

Don't do it when I'm not driving feels fine then!
 
could it be any thing to do with the fact i put in a bigger intercooler today?


Could be the "pitch stopper" has too much play and the engine moves slightly backwards as the power comes on .


The standard FXT one is quite soft.
 
Sounds like hard spots on the fly wheel. They cause that judder usually. Unless the clutch cylinder dodgy ? Now i think of it though, my last impreza used to do that but only when it was cold...........warmed up it was fine. :ponder:

actually my leggy did that too just before the rebuild .....
always when she was taking off in first when cold , the whole car would shake ...
so get new clutch and skimmed flywheel when it was out
 
I'm still thinking it's to do with the bigger intercooler !!!
But to be sure I'm just Gonna upgrade the clutch and flywheel as well
I'll get Dave to do it as I've a few bits to go on now and then over to bob for tweeking :dance:
 
it defo the bigger intercooler .....................i put in some spacers to lift it up a small bit, bent back the a/c pipes and a bit of messing about put it all back together and yahooooo its all good :thumbsup:
