Strong little car that what do you make of this?

Conveniently missing out the fact the he hit before hand on the bend and he didn't back off

Think the porker driver was a little out of order now . There was serious intent to ram the clio . Granted the clio was giving a push or nudge here and there but that's what makes for close racing .The porker was given a good half turn of the wheel to ram the clio in the barrier . It's not a video game like . Clio driver could have been killed quite easily

Clio should have braked / backed off moment he saw Porsche turn in and try take him off (or at least on initial contact).
It looks like Clio kept power on till he hit the grass - by then it was too late... so he did have some influence on the final outcome and quite possibly could have prevented going off. :ponder2:

Don't get me wrong - Porsche way out of order! :angry1: :new_2gunsfiring_v1:
Wonder if there were any repercussions... (ban, fine, good box in the mouth)

The 944 was out of shape, it is possible he was correcting a slide on the exit and just straightened up...the cilo tried to take a space that wasn't there.."refused to let him past" that's bullsh!t" he kept the line on the apex and the clio tried to push his way in..fcuk him I say.. bad sport by the d!ck in the 944 but he shouldn't have been there

As far as I can see the clio had the inside and was smashed out of it by a less than pleasant porsche owner . The view from the car behind the incident is clear enough so see the lines taken by both cars

After the corner yeah.. but coming into the bend the 944 had the racing line..if you look at 1:36 seconds you can see the 944 get slightly out of shape then the clio pushes him.. it's not as clear from the following footage but if you look at the video from the following driver at 2:15 in the video you can see the clio is off the curb pushing in.. he was never gonna make that move and he still stuck it in there..my guess is there was some niggle between these drivers that was going on for a few laps..if the 9944 wasn't rwd and slighty out of shape, the clio could have been on the grass coming around that bend and it never would have happened...stupid move...he saw the 944 hitting the anchors early he should have come around the outside of him safely..

Would yo reckon that the porsche driver knew the clio was looking up the inside and a considerable ways along the length of his car when he took his line then ?

my view is the porsche driver is a complete wa*ker !

i noticed it go unnoticed /unpunished in a recent F1 race aswell . you always have to leave enough tarmac for the other driver , ie dont force him off the track and that exactly what happened here . you are entitled to the racing line , but if it does not exist due to a competitor, then it cannot be taken , room must be left .

a good example of this happened to senna where basically he and another driver came together on the very first bend takin them both out of the race . he did it on purpose ,same as mr porsche driver .

=complete wa*ker imo

The first move around the corner is racing, see that kind of move in touring cars all the time. Yes, the clio got a bit eager when he saw the porsche going wide but it was just racing. What happened with the porsche pushing him off the road was ridiculously dangerous, at 1.42, the clio could've saved himself and turned in on the porsche and the porsche would've been nose in the wall or side impact where the clio hit.
