stupid question bout wheels

Would depend on the width of the wheel I'd imagine and the profile of the tyre.
 
run a 215 35 18 and you will be grand

tyres wont be cheap and the ride will be compromised but it will look great
 
There were 18's on my gf8 when I got it!!!
I decided 17's would be more comfortable and less stress on wheel bearings and gear box tho!!!!
 
cheers duffman good specific advise....i like that and hammie very good points....could keep the 17"s in haqve for every day then use 18"s for when i start going to isdc meets and stuff....ill get tyres cost price where i work so it shouldnt be to bad that way.....
