Subaru Cosworth Impreza vs old Imprezas review

Great video Fook all in it and 50k pounds for the cosworth not a chance I'd have a 22b and a type r for the track and loads of change for strippers

50k is mad money just for a cosworth badge

In saying that the 22b was 40k new in 1998..that was HUGE money then considering you could buy an E36 M3 for 39k.

So in Comparison latest model M3 cost around 55k new and this Impreza was 50k It pretty simliar... in fact cheaper...but has the Impreza evolved like an an M3 has?
Not even close 90% of the tech in the Hatch was available in the 22b...the M3 evolved from a straight 6 into a blueprinted 414bhp V8.

the cosworth is something else but a very small difference considering how much more technology etc there is now the 22B would def be my favourite and if i had the cash its what i would buy but i wouldnt exactly be heartbroken to end up with any of them

A rb 5 in 1999 was £28000 !!!!!
But £50000 today is to much

Certainly is Dennis.. considering you can get a hatch for around 26k..that is almost double the price...how do they justify that?

and if you threw 10k at a hatch sti, im sure u could build a "cossie" killer and still have enough for beer and hookers !

think if money was no object id have a cossie , but i think its just because there iconic tuners and demand a premium price same as rcm does on after market parts

cossie all the way ,,22b is not all its cracked up to be and was not built in the restrictive times we live in with ncap safety standards and emmission controls that are placed on new cars ,so it makes sense that the 22b would not be far behind the cossie on a test but it would way behind every where else as in everyday use, cossie is a very complete package .22b isnt

There is more than 10 years difference between them cars !! Difference in performance, almost nothing. Wonder why they didn`t put a hawk spec-c or s204 even a WR1 against the cossie ?
Diesel forester for everyday and classic for fun :icon_headbang:

Good video :subaru: but not sure I could give keys of a 22b to someone else even if it was just to drive around cones :icon_lol:
