Subaru impreza 280bhp on donedeal

I on the phone so I can't post a link but have a look, it's a white wrx in Mullingar up for 1800, does anyone know anything about it?? might go look at it it's on adverts aswell
 
It justs looks like a standard wrx to me. What makes it 280 bhp. To me thats a lot of money for a 95 one of these when you can pick up a good 99-00 one for a few hundred more. .... :anyone:
 
Thanks colm, Luke check it on adverts he reckons it made 286 at1 bar in mondello in 2011, I didn't know there was a dyno in mondello,

maybe it was mapped on track amd thats what he is talking about?
 
1 bar is standard, it's usually .9 of a bar, I don't know why you would be turned off, what's wrong with it??

It looks very good IMO for the money, it has plenty of upgrades e.g steering wheel, front lip, rear spoiler, wheels, 4 pots brakes. Etc

What more do you want for 1800€????
 
looks ok and the same owner for the last 7 years cant be a bad thing go view it and it will tell a lot :thumbsup:
 
Shaned Only way to know if its a turd is go drive a few I looked at 9 before buying mine.. ull have a good idea what a good one feels like after driving a few. Then get under it with a torch check obvious things like the under body condition for damage (ie off road fan) corrosion . Simple checks like engine and chassis plates matching.. a magnet to see if theres filler on the body ect ect.. have a chat with the owner and go for a good test drive if your still interested let the owner drive first and observe how he treats the car that will tell you alot.

A cartell full report will help if your still serious after above.
Most of all enjoy looking for a good one and take your time.
