Subaru Impreza Car Audio Project

Hi everyone! Are there any car audio enthusiasts here?
I see that this part of forum looks abandoned.
Personally, I always enjoyed listening to high quality audio in the car. We all spend a lot of time on the road, traffic is mad nowadays, but it always feels very exciting to start your day with a favourite playlist on the road and feel a deep bass with high clarity.
I see that many club members are responsible for some certain things here as for club events, webmastering, finances etc. I would be glad to become car audio adviser :giggle:

With this post I want to share a project that we did for my friend's Impreza. A custom made car audio system, with 3D printed speakers enclosures and individually built subwoofer

We designed and 3D-printed the enclosures to aim the speakers toward the front occupants, helping vocals and instruments appear clearly ahead of the listener, similar as on home theater sound

For low frequencies, we built a compact enclosure containing two 5-inch subwoofer drivers and paired it with a Ground Zero mono amplifier. The enclosure delivers controlled bass without the footprint of a large conventional subwoofer box, preserving more usable luggage space. Believe me, it can beat any bigger sub by the depth and quality of bass and it can also be hidden to leave a boot space completely free!

A portion of quality soundproofing has also been made

The heart of the system is a 9-inch Snapdragon-based Android multimedia head unit. It offers modern features including wireless Apple CarPlay and YouTube. Its integrated digital signal processor (DSP) helps us adjust timing, tonal balance and the front soundstage for more accurate listening.

As a result we have a unique sound experience that is often hard to achieve using just the factory products and solutions
If someone's excited to test and listen to it, feel free to let me know. I'm excited to share any car audio ideas to our community
