Hi lads I damaged this connector when I was lifting my engine it's at the back of the inlet manifold and plugs into the top of the engine block.
Not sure what it's for but I'm sure I'll need it.
Also four bolts that hold the engine to the torque convertor these were I bitch to get off I really had to resort to violence with these:)

I think it could be it's going to a sensor on the top of the block near the gear box housing it's only one wire,I forgot to disconnect the plug before lifting the manifold I only noticed it when I got the engine out.

Nice one Dan if ya have it you can PM me with cost and I'll arrange to collect.any idea where I'd get them bolts for torque convertor?

Id say from caroll and roche, they had one or two legacy/outbacks for breaking so if one was an auto they might have them there. You should be able to find the part number on opposed forces if you want to order new ones

You would be able to repair your own by de pinning the connector

get the point of a compas and pull out the rubber grommets slip ther over the 2 wirts then push them back in job done

I was trying to get the pin out to crimp the wire but it would not come out,I got the wee grommet out but no luck with the pin.ill give it another lash tomorrow.

just push it straight back adrain the same way as the rubber grommet came out and it should go or sometimes thers a little plastic nib holding it in place

No luck with repairing that connector the old wire was crimped solid and I could not open it so a replacement will be needed.
