Sunday Drivers
Following a recall in the US due to corroded suspension bits:

"2003-2008 Forester, and 2002-2007 Impreza except STI, and 2005-2006 Saab 9-2x check lower control arms for damage due to rust or corrosion, Subaru said it had reviewed complaints of front lower control arms broken at hanger brackets due to corrosion caused by road salt.
Inspect the front lower control arms for damage due to rust and replace or treat with an anti corrosive."

there is one in the UK now http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/apps/rec...CEFB948025793B002DBAEC&freeText=Blank&tx=VOSA

We are in receipt of and thank you for your below query / e mail which
has been forwarded for my attention.

Subaru UK as you are aware have recently announced a safety recall
in relation to the transfer links on the front suspension on certain
Subaru Forester and Impreza models.

We are currently in the process of collating all relevant information pertaining
to our market and will shortly notify all affected customers in the Republic
Of Ireland .
