Subaru Sambar

they do look a bit cool , but nothing beats the original type 2 for coolness ... i saw a 23 window ,split screen version with a H6 from a porsche ,and she was valued at over 60 grand sterling ....
what a bus ....

The subari sambars are a bit pricey though, especially for the size of thing , £4k , so roughly €5k , then VRT the thing , another 7-800 ....
If it was my money , id buy a transit for 2g and throw a mattress in the back ... sorted

There's a few of them about alright I like them two but not there price ! Imports direct on the malahide rd has two of them and he has them a long time maybe for the right offer you might get a good deal!! :ponder2:

im only around the corner from them(imports direct) must go over and have a look

Would love an old split screen dub

but i could never ever justify the price tag

Those however are awsome and the price isnt extortionate!!!

If I could afford it, I'd buy an original type 2 but the price of them is mental!!

These Sambars have it all for me, they've got character, the VW look and underneath they are subaru  You can get supercharged versions of them which give them relatively reasonable acceleration. And they are dirt cheap to run.

I think that Galway one is owned by T print r: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4999968&id=393095059046 I've seen it out near Clarenbridge a few times.

I must look up Imports Direct if they're online. I'm not that keen on buying something from the uk. I've been looking up these little vans for a while but i'm torn between giving in to myself and driving myself further into debt vs being sensible and not buying something I don't really need!

Buying somethin you dont really need is always the most fun though!!!
When you buy stuff you actually need its boring i.e. socks, loo roll, replacement light bulbs, toothpaste, shampoo

Buy one. Thery're deadly!! :049:

i like the way you think, Peadar. Socks and loo roll, they're not exactly retail therapy. But buying a cool bus, now that's different.

Maybe i'll get a new club going here. We already have the €60 club, maybe it's time for the €6,000 one!
