sump plug?

in the middle of trying to change the engine oil now, how does the sump plug come out. there is a little plastic knob on the top of it thats turning but not loosening. there is a gold bit behind that but looks like about 20-22mm in size, and my socket set only goes to 20!!
 
ye biggest spanner i have is 19mm and it seems way off, weird to see a plastic knob on a sump plug nut like that. pulled a sickie and all today to get this done! ah well off to DIY shop to buy a bigger spanner set!

no vother Rob, went and bought an adjustable spanner thing adn that did the job! draining as we speak!
