tidier kits available , few suppliers in oz ,

was going the spercharged route with my r sport but easier to trade it for an sti lol

Alot of work went into doing it, great read too.

Looks very different, hope he finishes off the bonnet.

I've seen a few of these in Imps and a some in Foresters too, mainly in the US though. That was a lot of work to install but, seriously, through the bonnet? duh, but it was well documented. Most of the superchargers, including the Eatons are installed on the front drivers side where the airbox and exit pipe are located regardless of which side you drive on. They are noisy buggers, but in a cool kind of way and anyone who has driven or been in a well sorted supercharged car may have second thoughts about turbos afterwards, You press the pedal and regardless of where you are in the rev range, it takes off according to right foot pressure, in any gear.

There was a chap in America who put an H6 3.0 into an older Forester very tidily and was then contemplating a super on top of that after doing the most droolworthy paint job and lowering/rims. I've come across a few Imprezas and Leggys online with the H6 conversion too, nice but it's a huge job. I think the H6 puts out around 220 horse (?) so maybe you wouldn't need a blower as well.
