Just thinking about a few small up grades to the cars handling .

As the car sits it has Kyb shocks . Tein springs and a strut brace .

As far as extra upgrades I know an uprated arb is a good idea for the rear .

But as far as drop links bushings etc I haven't a breeze.

So I want a shopping list I guess . Bare in mind it's a road car with occasional track use so I
Don't want to upgrade to coil overs and have the car stiff as a poker on the road .

So

1. Arb 24th rear
2.
3.

Cheers lads

22mm rear bar
Solid rear drop links
Anti lift kit

I have in mine.
Kyb ultra sr all round
Lowering springs
Cdf racing drop links
22mm front bar
24mm rear bar

Why the anti lift kit Johnny ? What's the benefit.

What difference do you notice having the front arb uprated luke ?

The car is solid on the road now and turns in very well. I still have to fit my subframe locking bolts and camber bolts.

dont want it overly solid , thought the rear arb alone would tackle understeer on spirited drives

Anti lift kit will make it turn in quicker Tommy  White line solid drop links and arb is what I.d do

Have kyb ultra sr on rear in mine oem up front with Eibachs rear sti arb upgraded drops front and back.

Just got front and rear strut bars

Looked into anti lift kit ect ect and decided it wasn't for me

Just be carefull you don't make the car worse/too stiff if for use as a daily I'd leave it if your going to do alot of track days probably a good idea

Just my 2 cents

Ciaran WRX

I think your mad spending that money and locking it up for months I'd spend it on beer and woman

Well he's fucked there keith. His woman won't let him out to drink. He's only getting to spend money now cause the woman thinks he's buying her Christmas present.....????????

I'd love to drive 2 cars back to back one with an Anti lift and one without just to see the difference

Whiteline 24mm rear arb set at medium rear droplinks and anti lift kit great cornering very comfortable even with full car no change in handling and no tire rubbing.

Can be bit hairy on the bumpy roads though takes a bit of getting used too.

Baz you can have a spin in mine next time if you want.

I drove a hawk sti same as mine with anti lift.. Car was alot sharper when cornering etc. hard to describe but there was huge difference. The car was more planted. now I think there was arb's on it too. it was all very rigid

My 2 cents having ALK:
1) More mechanical grip if car properly setup coming into corners (settle weight with throttle)
2) Bit crisper and more direct steering than before.

So the list seems to be arb . Drop links and alk . May get working on that so . Karma lads

Jeez if you keep doing all these improvements to the Subaru I'll need to do something to improve the Civic - might change to a lighter (type r titanium) gearknob - that should allow me keep up with you
