Hey all, my 00 turbo has just gone past 100k miles. I know the timing belt was done at 65k so what i'm wondering is should i just do the belt or do pullies & tensioners aswell ? Any ideas ? :dontknow:

35k is not enough mileage to require a timing belt change.

But number of years might be a factor, how many years ago was it done?

A good mechanic when changing the belt will recommend whether to do pulleys & tensioners too depending on their condition but as mark says @ 100k miles they will most likely need changing so budget for them.

Drop Ciaran (RS RA) an email or pm, he's based in Dublin & a brilliant mechanic, as honest as the day is long so if he says they need changing you can guarantee they need changing. He's away on holidays for 2 weeks but if ya can wait I'd recommend you do.
