Im looking to get a set of lowering springs for the Bugeye soon and cant decide between Tein or Eibach.

She's on 18'' alloys and i dont want any big arch gap.iv been looking at some pics and the Tein's do go a bit lower than the Eibach's,but are the Eibach's a better quality spring???

Much of a muchness I'd say Dave. Both quality manufacturers so go with the one that gives you the drop and stance that you want for your car

tein usually lower the car about 40mm, had them on the b4 a while back, fairly comfortable aswell, on the other hand never had any experience with eibach

Have had Tein fully adjustables on mine for a few years now and can't fault them

However, have heard a lot of grumblin' about them too :boohoo:

tein are usually alot stiffer than other because they are designed with asia and the u.s in mind where as eibach are a company who design and test in europe for european cars i have had a sorts of spring kits in different cars and always go back to eibach they are by far the best on the market and are used by a large amount of manufacturers as oe springs,i have them in the wagon and cant fault them

theres eibach lowering springs on the skyline im driving at the moment and they seem to be solid enough and shes lowered alot from standard, dont know what there like for a scooby though :dontknow:

Yeah I have to agree with the guys here about eibach.I have them on my car also with a set of 18's and it has just a nice gap to the wheel arch.very comfortable drive compared to the original sti spring.don't know a whole lot about tein though.they might bring down the arch gap even more.
