Thanks to the scrote who robbed my rear visor

I know its not the same as having your car stolen - but some scrote shite bag robbed my rear visor off the bugeye this week. Sadly I only spotted it this morning while giving the car a wash. The car has only been in 3 locations all week - home / work & Liffey Valley on Thursday (5pm to 630pm). All 3 locations have CCTV which I'll be having reviewed.

The visor/wing only cost a 100 or so, but its really not the point, you can't just take something from someone. Its been a few years since I've had a car tampered with, but all the anger from the previous thefts is coming flooding back. I have a top of the range alarm, and likewise all 3 locations are CCTV covered, but this doesn't stop them.

Anyway - heres a pic of the wing/visor on the (the far right bug)

That really sucks, had a few fins and parts robbed from a few cars over the years.

Sickening feeling, will keep an eye out for this on any "modded car i see".

Hopefully Karma will get them back.
 
not a common spoiler for the bug so should be hard to move on .

would put the word out on All the main subaru forums and keep an eye on donedeal

Where had you it parked in Liffy valley?

I came out one day after being in halfords and oily hand marks on both spoilers tryed to rip them off and I have heard of spoiler going missing from there before .There was 3 pikey looking basterds in a van close by looking at me laughing
 
Bastards , cant have nothing anymore , some c*nt even robbed the black wheel nut covers off my transporter , like ffs why would ya bother thaking them

thanks lad - its more the thoughts of some shite being at the car, more than the value of the wing itself. Liffey Valley got back to me fairly promptly to say they are reviewing the CCTV - likewise I'll chase up work and apartment CCTV to at least give me an idea what day it disappeared.

Yeah I think I was the only plonker with this wing - I'll probably buy another one, but not until I have a fair idea where it got fleeced.

exactly - these are small things, practically useless really, and are just for a bit of show, but its always been the way in this country. If its not completely nailed down, it will be taken. I just under estimated 3M tape and its strength - even though its been rock solid on the car for at least 18 months and never budged in all the times I checked it.

Anyway - NCT in the morning, so hopefully Karma will swing back toward me and nothing fails on the car.

Also appreciate all the comments - makes me feel slightly better about it !
 
NCT didn't go too bad - only failed on nearside dip being too low - everything else was 100%

Now need to find someone to do it - or do it myself, and then pay the 28euro for the retest.

Sorry about the little fookers who were at your car had to take mine off the road couple months ago cause of 2 attempted thefts drivers side wind strip ripped off and glass bent out then passenger door handle and lock was done xmas weekend garda just told me to get rid as they would keep coming back.

Cars getting done all over the place morning,noon and night and only gona get worse.

Make a mock one outa somthing tape it to the car and park back there and just watch from a distance
If it happend in liffey valley you will prob find its the same crowd so try it a few times and show the first person to go near it what your wheel brace looks like :thumbsup:
