Id say it would work!!!! but it wont bring every dent out flawlessly.....
where he hit that bonnet with the mallet I would be very sceptical about it fixin that perfectly..... The metal would have stretched slightly from that impact meaning its cant be straightened with that little yoke....

Not bad for soft dents tho..
