The new B4

B4 soon

Petrolheads
So at last here it is. I sold my old B4 in June thinking I'd go diesel but almost immediately I regretted it. I spent about a month looking at A4's and mazda 6's and 530D's but realised that I really hadn't much enthusiasm for any of them-they're all overpriced and far too common. So I spotted this on donedeal and made a call. The seller was very honest with me and told me straight out about any issues with the car and what bottom line was. Basically the drivers door was lightly damaged, few small dents and ripples here and there around the car and out of test. Went to view it one thursday(took the bus) with cash in my pocket and after a test drive showed it to be a good tight car I drove it home. And so the tidying up began. The car had no spoiler from factory so I sorted one out and sent it with the car to the bodyshop when drivers door was being repaired. Ordered an Alpine Ipod unit off ebay(bargain) and all required harnesses and a genuine subaru din pocket as the whole centre console was a bit shabby-still have to sort out bottom tray as its not quite a perfect fit. While waiting for these bits to arrive I got Damien(dentman) to sort out any small marks on the car and all came out very well. Paintwork had dulled a bit so full de-tar and buffing with G3 and a good waxing sorted it. Got it through NCT-two front tyres and number plates was all it needed. Now to my favourite bit-the wheels. Originally ordered Lenso Samurai D1R's from rimstyle in Kent, but was e-mailed to say last set was gone and wouldn't be back in stock til october. Gary at Rimstyle offered me two similar alternatives at same price,Rota Boosts,or the Team Dynamics Pro Race 3's that we had specially made for the car as they don't come in 5x100PCD. And there it is-I'm very very happy with the outcome.Pics below.

Congrats Sean, well wear :subaru:

Car looks good can't believe the interior is immaculate, not a mark on the leather bolster even :icon_omg:

Thanks lads, wasn't that clean when I got it but price i paid reflected that. Unusual interior-never seen one before-i assume its cos it was the run out model. Also did plugs and oil and filter change and refurbed brakes before wheels went on. i think the white on silver is best combo.

Very clean looking car wheels are different but look very well under it

Cheers. Suppose being different is what started off modifying from day one. I've never been into the black/gunmetal thing on wheels.
